In the past, I have named entries after Prisoner episodes; I don’t remember which year that was and I don’t want to scour the internet to find out. I am going to randomly select a hexagram from the I Ching, and use the title of that as the title of the entry. Presumably that will act as some kind of prompt to make the writing easier. The random selection process, by the way, will be one I’ve developed with no consideration for the tradition or traditions which weigh down consultations of the oracle. I’m not seeking guidance here, I just want something to write in that little box and get started.
Admittedly I do occasionally consult the oracle in that fashion, and go on to ignore the plain sense of what I hear. And that’s an entry in its own right; better save it for a few days.
